Community Content Guidelines

Epic1 Academy (“Epic1 Academy”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) greatly values the creative efforts of our students who are inspired to create fan content based on our educational immersive game for school support. This Fan Content Policy is designed to guide you on what is acceptable and what is not when creating and sharing fan content using our assets. We encourage your creativity but also need to protect our brand and intellectual property.

What is Allowed

• Designated Assets: You are permitted to use game assets provided in our media gallery for creating fan artwork, videos, and other fan content (“Fan Content”).
• Compliance and Appropriateness: Fan Content should be appropriate for our game’s audience, non-commercial, and consistent with the spirit and values of our brand.
• Monetisation: Individual students may monetise Fan Content on approved platforms like YouTube, provided it does not violate this Policy or other terms.
• Accurate Identification: You may use our name to correctly identify our game but should not imply our endorsement or sponsorship.

What is Prohibited

• Brand Harm: Do not create Fan Content that promotes cheating, hacking, or anything that could damage our brand’s reputation.
• Offensive Use: Avoid using our assets in an obscene, defamatory, racist, offensive, or illegal manner.
• Commercial Restrictions: Fan Content should be strictly non-commercial. The creation and sale of NFTs using our assets are prohibited.
• Misleading Affiliations: Do not falsely imply that your Fan Content is affiliated with or endorsed by Epic1 Academy.
• Trademark Misuse: You are not permitted to register domains, social media accounts, or create any digital or physical merchandise using our trademarks.

Your Responsibilities

• Legal Compliance: Ensure your Fan Content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
• Disclaimer Requirement: Include a clear disclaimer with your Fan Content stating: “This content is not official and is not endorsed by Epic1 Academy.”
• Trademark Usage: Follow our rules for trademark usage and do not alter our trademarks in your Fan Content.
• Revocation of Permission: We reserve the right to revoke your permission to use our assets and take action for any misuse of our intellectual property.
